Additional information

    • Treatment at Maccabi Tivi begins with a medical consultation, where a personalized treatment plan is developed based on your condition and needs. Treatments will only be approved following the medical consultation.
    • A medical consultation is considered a treatment itself, and is included in the permitted 20 appointments per year for Maccabi Zahav and Maccabi Sheli members.
    • Sessions will be charged in advance
    • You should bring any relevant medical documents to the first appointment at the clinic: MRI results, CT tests, x-rays, laboratory test results, hospital discharge letters, etc.
    • Eligibility depends on the member remaining in the same insurance plan for the duration of the treatment period
    • Session prices are based on the Maccabi Tivi price list, subject to the terms and conditions of Maccabi's supplementary health services and index updates. Errors and Omissions Excepted
    • Medical massage, herbal consultation, and acupuncture are not covered under Maccabi Zahav.

If you are eligible for medical treatment, reimbursement, or a deductible for medical expenses due to the following situations, the service will be provided outside of the supplementary health services framework:

  • A police officer injured in the line of duty
  • Victims of terror and related violence recognized by the National Insurance Institute
  • IDF veterans with a disability of at least 20%
  • Traffic accident victims
  • Work accident victims

If the needed medical service is not because of the aforementioned circumstances, a doctor's letter confirming this must be sent to the medical center office (branch) for approval to receive the service.

The letter can be submitted in a designated envelope and sent by mail or emailed to the medical center.
