Maccabi's flu vaccine campaign begins on 02.09.2025 and ends on 01.03.2026. The vaccines will be gradually distributed to all clinics nationwide.
Vaccination appointments will open as the vaccines arrive at the various clinics.
You can check the availability of appointments at the clinic nearest you on the Maccabi app, on the website, or via the call center.
When contacting the clinic for service, if there are symptoms such as fever, runny nose or cough, you must be ensure wearing mask throughout your stay at .the clinic
Maccabi members ages 6 months and up.
Flu vaccination is recommended for everyone above 6 months
and especially for at-risk populations:
Members over age 50, and especially ages 65 and older
People with long-term illnesses (chronic patients)
People with obesity
Pregnant women
Postpartum women within 3 months after giving birth
Children aged 6 months and older with long-term illnesses
Infants and children from 6 months to 12 years old
Infants and children aged 6 months to 18 years receiving long-term aspirin therapy due to the risk of Reye's syndrome if they get the flu
People who reside and work in closed or semi-closed institutions, such as boarding schools, nursing homes, hospitals for long-term and mentally ill patients, psychiatric hospitals, prisons, institutions for developmental intellectual disabilities, and others
Healthcare workers, MDA and United Hatzalah volunteers, health professions students
Caregivers and volunteers who make home visits to high-risk individuals
Household members and primary caregivers of anyone over age 65 with a chronic illness or background thereof
People caring for babies under six months old
Workers in close contact with farmed or wild poultry

A high-dose inactivated vaccine will be given by injection to patients and organ transplant recipients who have been hospitalized in the last two years:
Free of charge.
Students in grades 2-4 will receive the vaccine in schools
